Follow an interest you notice
Your child is touching a washcloth and comparing it with the table. The Week 1 menu points to “Find Two Textures.” You want to build on that interest but need to choose materials, show the action, and know what to do if it feels difficult.
The Week 1 menu points to “Find Two Textures.” Its activity page asks for two safe objects with clearly different surfaces, such as a smooth wooden spoon and a textured washcloth. Check the materials and readiness cue, then show a gentle touch on each and name one contrast.
Your child can touch, compare, gesture, or look while you supervise. The page offers an easier option and clear stop cues. Later, the carry-forward guidance helps you repeat, simplify, change one feature, or finish.
The guide puts activity choices and next steps together, so an idea comes with a way to begin.

A plan you can return to
Use the same five-part loop throughout: Notice. Choose. Show. Step Back. Carry Forward. Start with something your child is already doing. Choose one nearby invitation, show only the action needed, and leave room to watch, try, change, repeat, or stop while you continue supervising.
The menus and quick indexes help you choose by interest, action, preparation, or materials. Check the readiness cue before setup. Each activity page keeps materials, demonstration, prompts, an easier option, adult responsibilities, and stop conditions together. Weekly carry-forward pages help you decide whether to repeat, simplify, transfer an action, or finish; there is no need to keep up with consecutive weeks.

Begin where your child is
Read the adult responsibility and materials guidance on pages 5–6. Page 3 offers quick ways to choose today's invitation. Notice one current interest, then use a weekly menu or quick index to choose an invitation. Check its readiness cue and gather only the stated materials. Ordinary household or natural materials are used; adults must check their suitability for the specific activity and child.
No activity requires printed worksheets or cards. Read the guide on screen or print selected activity pages; printing all 107 pages is optional.
Before you choose
Do we need to follow twelve consecutive weeks? No. Begin anywhere, skip or revisit weeks, and choose one, several, or no invitations today. There is no catch-up work.
Does every activity suit every child aged 3–6? Ages are approximate. Use the readiness cues and your judgment. Adjust, postpone, or skip when an activity does not fit.
Is this independent childcare or a complete curriculum? No. It requires adult support and supervision. It is not a developmental assessment and does not promise a particular learning outcome.
Start with one invitation. Let the response guide your next choice.
